Service Terms & Conditions
1. Service & Fee
The £850 fee covers the agreed sourcing, supplier coordination, stock reservation, preliminary condition and authenticity checks, and relocation arrangements for the specified item. It is a service fee, not a return or restocking charge.
If the customer proceeds with the purchase, the full £850 will be credited towards the total price of £8,350, leaving £7,500 payable.
2. Immediate Commencement & Cancellation
By separately requesting immediate commencement, the customer authorises Icon Boutique London Ltd to begin the service during the statutory 14-day cancellation period.
If the customer cancels during this period before completion, a proportionate charge may apply for services already supplied. Once the agreed service has been fully performed, following the customer's express request and acknowledgement of the loss of cancellation rights, the statutory right to cancel the service will cease.
3. Service Completion & Refunds
The service is completed once the agreed sourcing, securing of the item, supplier coordination, preliminary checks and any included relocation or authentication coordination have been performed, and written completion confirmation has been provided.
If the customer subsequently decides not to purchase the item, the completed service fee is not refundable merely because of that decision, subject to statutory rights.
If the Company cannot secure the agreed item, or the item has an unresolved authenticity concern or materially differs from the agreed specification, the service fee will be refunded.
4. Arrival & Outstanding Payment
Following arrival in London and completion of the agreed authentication process, the customer will receive written confirmation, authentication documentation and a request for the outstanding £7,500.
The balance must be paid within 3 working days. If payment is not received, the Company may cancel the reservation and release the item for resale, subject to applicable law. This does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund for services already properly completed.
5. Statutory Rights
The sourcing service and purchase of goods are treated separately, with the £850 credited towards the purchase if completed. Nothing in these terms affects the customer's statutory consumer rights, including cancellation and refund rights relating to the service or goods.
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections.
